Soil Moisture Monitoring:
Soil moisture monitoring is no doubt a fundamental tool in irrigation management.

At some point in any given growing season, soil moisture and water management becomes an issue......how can this be managed?

There is a range of probes available, that are
telemetry compatible.
Complete probe versions can be either:
  1. Fully sealed access tube and sensors - installed subsurface in both irrigated & dryland cropping systems
  2. Removable sensors from an access tube - access tube cap above ground - irrigated cropping systems
  3. Single sensor options - soil moisture, temperature & bulk EC

If you are looking to build a complete weather station or just require individual sensors for an application, (eg: rainfall) then there is a variety of sensors that are telemetry compatible. 
  • Temperature & Humidity
  • Wind Speed & Direction

  • Solar Radiation or PAR Sensors (ET Calculations)

Water Heights:
Monitoring water heights is an important part of irrigation management.


If you need to monitor:
  • Channel heights - stationary or a mobile installation version
  • Dam heights & volume
  • Flood harvesting events and water transfer - then a water height sensor and logger is essential.

There is a range of water height sensors available, that are telemetry compatible. These sensors can be either a pressure transducer or radar type sensors.
The data generated, can be converted into AHD
(Australian Height Datum) values or meters above sea level if required
